A robot that can plug itself in would be totally unstoppable — as long as the power was turned on. It's like a cat who knows how to work a can-opener. German artist Andre Kutscherauer's 3-D CGI images show manic bots that look like Pixar's mutant offspring. My favorite image is the one below, showing a lightbulb bot that's plugged itself in — and now faces some unfortunate moth trouble.

This is quite funny,I dont know how usefull it is but it could help when you're not in the mood to do anything.

I’m sure that you have a bunch of cables underneath your desk, all clogged together. Why I’m sure ? because everyone has it, including me. I’ve seen some other gadgets designed to solve this problem, but none as cool as this one. The Energy Saving Adapters by Gilles Belley not only look good but have some smarts behind them too. Each module corresponds to a device and monitors the power consumption independently. Most electrical devices have a standby mode to save energy but even then, about 10% of today’s electrical costs come from appliances wasting energy in that mode. The Energy Saving Adapters can detect this and display symbolic symbols notifying the owner of wasted energy. If someone doesn’t respond within 3 minutes, it automatically turns off said device.
