If you’re lacking some storage space, and you don’t have a 1 TB Asus M70 Laptop you have two options, either add an extra hard drive to your desktop computer or if you like carrying your stuff around you can get an external hard drive. But now you’re in the situation of choosing a hard drive, and you have to consider that if you’re a PC user you need to get a hard drive with an USB2.0 port and if you’re a MAC user you need to get a hard drive with a firewire port.

But here comes the trick, what if you want to connect your hard drive across different computers that don’t have the same ports ? OWC now offers a solution for this problem, a hard drive that features 3 connecting ports: USB 2.0, Firewire 400 and Firewire 800, isn’t this sweet ? Now there’s no incompatibility, and to the list of features we have to add the 500 GB storing capacity and 5400 rpm of the unit.

The hard drive is available for $360, which some of you might find expensive, but cool gadgets are always in small packages and expensive
