This computer looks like a normal book on the outside, but when you open it you are about to find a complete PC that includes everything a normal laptop would. It’s still just a concept but it would surely make a good impression, but also a statement about the society’s virtualization – something that not everyone would agree wit. But still it’s an interesting product. The Laptop Book, has a CD-Rom drive complete with CD, a keyboard that can be removed so as to access the battery, and a switch that turns off the screen light once the book is closed.

The secret ? its simple, first HC uses the fastest microprocessor in the world IBM Power 6 which today smashed trough the 5 GHz barrier, the first time a chip is ever run-ed at this kind of speed. Second it uses an innovative technology that brings water almost all the way to the chip. The most advanced water cooling of its kind. Than after the water passes trough the system it is pumped for example into a heating system for a small neighborhood.

This heavily modded, liquid-cooled PC is strictly for use while parked (unless you want to strap a monitor to your lap while riding, and connect a really long extension cord). While it may not have serious racing horsepower, I’m sure it’s got plenty of processing speed.
