Well, my wife fell for the bathroom TV solution they have, so we know have a mirror TV in our formal lounge, another in my study and a bathroom TV in our en-suite and the guest en-suite. They’re beautiful too!

I’ve been researching in to these mirror TVs because we have a home in England where we don’t want a thumping great plasma/LCD spoiling the look for the room. We did have an AV installer who offered to botch together a screen and some two-way glass but then we were put on to a German company called ad notam that actually makes these things as complete units with a warranty. We were put on to their guys in the UK (Simply Mirror TV) and it turns out you can not only buy a standard unit from a choice of 32″ / 37″ / 46″ & 65″ (all Full HD LCD) and then put a frame around it so it looks just like a conventional mirror – they can also do a totally bespoke solution using colored/printed glass, shapes from template – anything you want. Mirror TVs and special surface TVs is all the guys at Simply Mirror TV do, and they were really passionate about making sure we got what we wanted – which turned out to be four of their screens!
