When i hear the word touchscreen i imediately think at some nifty new gadget that has this function, but no, that not what this article is about. In fact the touch screen balancing platform was developed by the Real Time Systems Laboratory at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, Italy. The touch screen is used as a X-Y axes sensor, and the information is than used to make adjustments with the servos.

It’s quite an original idea, and very well applied, I mean look at the video, the platform can handle quite well even when the bal is throwed at it.

Mythbusters is such a great show beacuse Adam, Jamie and their assistants, Kary, Grant, and Tory are achieving extraordinary thinghs. I wonder if there exist a myth that they couldn’t try it.
Every week Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman use modern-day science for three myths to show us what’s real and what’s fiction. They demonstrate if those myths are scientifically possible even they are meeting dificulties.

In this movie they show us the difference in rendering graphics between CPU and GPU. The Graphics Peocessor Unit is able to perform many instructions in paralel unlike a CPU that performs one instructions at once.

It was a great demonstration acomplished by mythbusters.
Their comic way of presenting the shows are making us curious about the content of those shows.

Knock Artoo’s head off to reveal an ice cold can of your favorite beverage inside – that’s what this R2-D2 USB mini fridge is all about. All you need to do is plug his body into any available USB port and wait until your drink gets chilled (with the can inside, of course). Perfect for folks who waste their time at work surfing for more Star Wars trivia instead of being productive. It will cost you £17.99 to bring this decapitated R2-D2 home though.

The USB Cleaner Mouse is both a normal computer mouse with two buttons and a scroll wheel and a tiny vacuum cleaner that keeps your desktop clean by only pressing one button that’s located on the lower right side of the mouse. The dust is kept inside a small compartment untill you decide to empty it.

It looks a little wierd and we don’t know how easy it is to handle but it sure is helpful for the dusty desks, especially when you are too tired of cleaning the pad everyday. We will probably see this soon but for the moment it’s only available in Japan at the price of ¥1980 (that’s around $19.00).

This computer looks like a normal book on the outside, but when you open it you are about to find a complete PC that includes everything a normal laptop would. It’s still just a concept but it would surely make a good impression, but also a statement about the society’s virtualization – something that not everyone would agree wit. But still it’s an interesting product. The Laptop Book, has a CD-Rom drive complete with CD, a keyboard that can be removed so as to access the battery, and a switch that turns off the screen light once the book is closed.

Immagine a thief breaking into your library looking for a hidden safe, and when he finds this susspicious book he realises it’s nothing but a PC… that would surely surprise him .

For those of you who are not familiar with the WiiFit, it is a pressure sensitive balance board that allows users to exercise with aerobic, toning, and balance activities, all “supervised” by a virtual trainer.
Not only will the WiiFit do exercise-based games like push-ups, but there are other games that are fun for all ages. For example, a user can wiggle to a virtual hula hoop or play a soccer goalie who is blocking shots with his or her head.

In short, the WiiFit is the best way to get video game players off of the couch since the invention of WiiSports. No doubt Jane Fonda would have sponsored the WiiFit if it had been invented during the time of the Atari 2600. Nintendo has officially announced that the WiiFit will be released on May 19th.

Isn’t it fun to carry a key chain that can actually record your voice! This single message voice recorder key chain is portable, compact in size with gimmick design and you can record up to 10 seconds. Great for leaving reminders. You will never forget where you parked your car ever again. Press “rec” key and speak in normal voice about 50mm from the front of the MIC. Press “play” key and release, and listen to the recorded message.

Since it is attached to your keyring, you carry it almost everywhere with you… and you can record funny moments or important ones easily. That’s pretty much all it can do.

With the advent of the incessantly beeping and easily concealable Annoy-a-tron, ThinkGeek has ushered in a new era of sophisticated office pranks sure to drive your co-workers bonkers while you snicker silently at your desk. Now the next advanced level in stealthy office joke electronics is ready for your enjoyment. The Phantom Keystroker may look like a harmless circuit board, but it’s actually a devious contraption of unlimited office-based torture. Simply discreetly attach the Phantom Keystroker to any extra USB port on your victim’s computer, no drivers needed. The Keystroker emulates a keyboard and mouse and periodically makes random mouse movements and types out odd garbage text and phrases. A simple jumper setting allows you to choose between either keyboard garbage typing, annoying mouse movements or both. An adjustment pot sets the duration between “events”. We recommend you don’t set it too frequently so as to extend the agony.

Your hapless co-worker pal will think his computer has been possessed or infected by a destructive virus. As he writhes in anger and furiously dials tech support you can rest easy with a job well done.

I played paintball for a couple of times and let me tell you for those who did not play, it really hurts to be hit by a paint ball. This paintball turret will keep your enemies aways from your lawn , theres no doubt.

Optional extras include a 2.4ghz 2 mile wireless link, higher resolution video with zoom lenses, video goggles, night vision, thermal vision, LED spotlights, hopper upgrades, water proofing, winter proofing and the list goes on.. . Of-course the part with the lawn was a joke, you do realize that its illegal to shoot at someone with this gadget. A gadget like this could fit nicely into a paintball course.
